copy of account cancellation and all content removal
Orhan,
As per our phone conversation, I’m herby sending you a copy of the account cancellation request I sent to archinect earlier today. I’m doing this for the purpose of having someone else besides myself and archinect being aware of my request. I’ll let you know when archinect has complied with my request. A copy of this email is also being sent to Paul at archinect.
Thanks,
Stephen Lauf

why is my content still being published at archinect/forum without my permission?
You have closed my archinect account connected with a...@m...c, which means I can no longer log-in and actively participate within archinect forum or any other aspects of archinect.com, but you have not removed all the content that I own the rights to from archinect/forum. Additionally, you have not notified me via return email that any action on your part has taken place thus far. My full request still stands:
I hereby request the cancellation and removal of all content from archinect/forum of the accounts associated with the emails listed below:

l...@q...

This action of cancellation and content removal is to take effect immediately.

Failure to comply with this request will result in copyright infringement, as archinect.com, as of receipt of this email, no longer has permission to publish content owned by Stephen Lauf on archinect.com.
Now, in addition, I request an explanation (via return email) as to why my content has not been removed, and, for the duration of the time that archinect.com continues to publish my content without permission, you will hereby be charged $100.00/24hours effective 12 noon 4 January 2019. Willful ignorance, on your part Paul, of my requests opens grounds for legal action.

Re: why is my content still being published at archinect/forum without my permission?
Hi Stephen,
I very much look forward to ridding Archinect of your years of self-promotion. As you know, your accounts have been banned from Archinect many times in the past [sic banned only once], only resulting in you creating new accounts to continue to post link-backs to your website. I'm on holiday with my family at the moment, and cannot be bothered by your silly threats and foolish interpretations of copyright infringement. I will permanently ban your account when I return to work on Monday. I ask that you refrain, this time, from creating any new accounts on Archinect.
Best of luck to you.

do we have a deal then?
My recollection is that once, sometime prior to 2010(?), my archinect account was banned for a day or two, and on or about 12 October 2014 you banned my then three accounts associated with emails l..@q.., l..@q.. and l..@... Then sometime January 2015 I created a new archinect account with email a.@m...
Sometime 2009/2010 I made several requests to have my then four archinect accounts cancelled with all associated content removed, to which there was no reply from you. Sometime 2011 you and I indeed discussed the cancellation and removal of my then four archinect accounts and you cancelled the accounts but the associated content was not removed--instead the screen names were removed from the posts within the forum and the post history was removed from each screen name's profile. Your reason for not removing the content was to "save the integrity of the threads" (or something very close to that). When my accounts were banned in 2014 I did not request that the associated content be removed because I assumed you would give the same reason of thread integrity or some other reason why it can't be done.
Now, seeing how you were able to delete Chris Teeter's account and it's associated content from archinect/forum seemingly without much effort at all, I now know that the removal of content can be done and thread integrity is no longer an issue. Thus my present request for account cancellation and removal of all content associated with the four emails listed in the formal request.
For many years now, my contention has been that as long as archinect.com publishes content I generated, then I have a right to an active account. Being banned or wanting to end an archinect account should coincide with archinect no longer publishing content associated with a banned or cancelled account. With a cancelled account and all associated content removed I no longer have the right to post at archinect.
Like I said at the top, my intention is to never create an account on archinect again, and, you Paul, can guarantee that I never again create an archinect account by removing all content associated with l..@q.., l..@q.., l..@q.. and a..@m.. from archinect/forum. If you have any problem with this agreement just let me know. And, if at any time in the future after all the requested content has been removed, I then create a new archinect account, you then have every right to sue me for breach of contract.

thanks, till next time...
Hi Orhan,
Thanks for allowing me to send you email copies of the emails I sent to archinect. My request of account cancellation and content removal was complied with sometime yesterday (Saturday) afternoon. The fact that someone else other than me or Paul (especially someone that both Paul and I know) greatly reassured me that Paul had a much lesser opportunity to jerk me around. In all my exchanges with Paul, I was always sure he was never being completely honest with me, and he remained dishonest with me to the very end. Given that Paul’s only statement in this matter itself contained untruths shows me I was always right about his disrespect and dishonesty with me. He could have easily complied with my request in the same time that it took me to make the request.
I very much enjoyed our live conversation on Friday. It was very nice speaking with a true peer, something I very rarely get to do for many years now. I certainly would like for us to get to know each other better, mostly because I feel sure that both of us would always be learning something. But who knows if that’s really going to actually happen--given my current/ongoing situation here and the great distance between us. I can tentatively suggest that I’ll keep in touch via email and occasional phone calls, we’ll see how that goes. In the meantime, maybe you can send me a postcard or two from Turkey; that would surely make me smile.
Hope you’re having a great time on your trip.
Steve
