My questions to Stan Allen remain, and really only he can answer them.
I doubt that Allen could honestly say that the issue I raise regarding Piranesi's Campo Marzio Ichnographia are "minor historical facts." He certainly should not continue stating publically that Piranesi's Campo Marzio is "his subject" as if he were an fully knowledgable authority on the subject.
Peter Eisenman is another architect that has demonstrated an emormous lack of knowledgable authority in terms of Piranesi's Campo Marzio. Here is were bullshit really resides.
