[Throughout the early 1990s Lauf uniquely utilizied CAD in the process of generating paintings. The first painting was OPERATION COMPLETE (1992) and the last was SIAMESE (1995). One of the largest, TAKEN LITERALLY at 6.5 x 10.5 feet, hung in Anthony Vidler's NYC Chelsea sublet for a couple years.]
