Some general principles of the Timepiece are:
a. Human morphology and human physiology relate to the stages of humanity's development over time.
b. The design and operation of the human body represents the entire (hi)story of humanity, its past, its present, and its future.
c. The present is a non-dimensional partition between the past and the future.
d. The most unique feature of The Timepiece of Humanity is its representation of the whole range of time, past and future. The past and future are therefore simultaneous albeit inert. The passing plane of the present brings time out of inertia.
e. The human body is the symbol, metaphor, design, and plan of humanity's own destiny.
