[Dave Schmitt died in Germantown, and is buried in the yard of a very old Lutheran Church right on Germantown Avenue. His urn, via a surprising bit of shock and awe, was finally placed in the ground by John Christopher Knowles, a quondam student of Louis I. Kahn.]
