Erwin von Steinbach (II)

The successor of Erwin von Steinbach (I) as architect of Strasburg cathedral was probably his son Erwin (II), who served from 1318 until some time after 1339. He was probably in turn succeeded by his younger brother Hans (Jean) called Winlin. It is impossible now to determine how much of the work is due to them, but it doubtless included the completion of the great rose window and the lower stories of the towers.
