Ithiel Town
architects; b. 1784; d. June 13, 1844.
In 1829 he formed a partnership with A. J. Davis and designed the State Capitol, the Episcopal church, and several residences in Northampton, Massachusetts, the city hall of Hartford, Connecticut, church in New York, the State Capitols of Indiana and of North Carolina, and several office buildings in Washington.
