Karl Kayser
architect; b. February 12, 1837; d. September 2, 1895.
An architect of Vienna, Austria, who went to the city of Mexico, and, in 1864, was employed by Maximilian, Emperor of Mexico, in the reconstruction and restoration of palaces there. After the death of Maximilian he returnd to Vienna, and modernized several mediæval and baroque palaces.
