architect.
A writer on architecture mentioned by Vitruvius. He quotes him on the Doric order, on the Corinthian order, and on an Ionic temple of Æsculapius at Tralles, of which he seems to have been the architect (Vitruvius, VII, præf. 12). He flourished probably about 376 B.C.
