My Retirement at Ury So Far
2021 - 2024
2024.05.01
After an over-a-month hiatus, resumed transcribing my The Discovery of Piranesi's Final Project notes, which, if all proceeds as hoped for, will eventually join the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts Archive. The notes comprise 165 loose leaf pages, of which 36 pages are transcribed so far.
Started, finished and framed the first of hopefully many more "quickie" paintings.
In the evening, I attended the monthly meeting of the Northeast Philadelphia History Network featuring a talk on "Tacony’s Keystone Scientific & Literary Association" by Suzin Weber at Pennepack Baptist Church (rebuilt 1805). The talk was interesting and informative, followed by a lively Q&A. Afterwards, upstairs in the balconies, Tony and I and another gentleman whose name I cannot remember, discussed Albania. Who knew?
