At the extreme northern end of the axis of death are the Sepulchra Familiae Domitiorum, the tombs of the aristocratic family that once owned all the land through which the axes of life and death stretch.
Like the axis of life with its binding nympheae, the axis of death terminates with two gigantic tombs.
