so what then is architecture?

well nomadic architecture in terms of the applied shell could be viewed at as space stations and such, arch constructs that facilitate shelter operation and movement.

but looking at hotels, fixed immobile architecture, that facilitates nomadic intentions as well.

how do these two fit into natural shell versus applied shell dialectic when both are meant to facilitate equally nomadic intentions?

so what then is architecture?

shell, i see you point about architectures that fulfill nomadic intentions, but I also see mobile homes, trailer parks and even just automobiles as architectures that fulfill nomadic intentions better than hotels. Hotels fit more the oasis typology/metaphor, acting as both waystation and/or destination.

Are oases a whole other category beyond the shell?
