Durandus (Durand)
architect.
The inscription Durand me fecit is found on one of the vaults of the nave of the cathedral of Rouen. On account of similarity of workmanship, Deville supposes that all the vaults of the nave were built by him.

Lapo (Jacopo Tedesco)
architect.
Lapo is an abbreviation of Jacopo. He began the Palazzo del Podestà (now Bargello), in Florence, in 1250. Vasari is mistaken in supposing that Lapo was the father of Arnolfo di Cambio. He was more probably his associate.
