Diptych: architecture and thinking twice
The next step will be to conceptualize what kinds of images will also be in Diptych. Of course, many (if not most) will be cad drawings, and I'm straight off thinking that I want to create all kinds of new "buildings" via collage, mesh surfaces, rotation extrusions, design developments.

dtm - new work
I (finally) got around to wireframing the mesh surfaces generated earlier this year, and I also deleted virtually all of the earliest surfaces I generated because they were mostly overwrought with grid quadrants and not very modular. I'm utilizing the freeze triangle command (with edge display = 1) to generate the wireframe lines, and the process is very effective and not at all tedious. That is the main reason that I'm going to focus on mesh surfaces over the next few days, because I can now compile a library of many wireframe surfaces. I also streamlined the surface generation process on the old system by using sketch lines instead of spline lines.

Hyper Architecturism
Hyper Architecturism is now the document where I can correctly display all my ideas and manifestations of CAD play, especially the mesh surfaces and extruded rotations. Of course, the play will include model manipulation and collage/collision (which will easily be exhibited by simply capturing the play while I do the playing).
The whole book will begin with the (skin) questions: "so what then is architecture...?"

QA003: form or play? = Quondam Ludi (former play).
QA003: Form or Play? ...the question whether easily computer generated graphic data is actually a generator of architectural form or just electronic/digital play. Moreover, this theme opens up the whole issue of playing with existing models via scale manipulation and data collision.
I'm already in the process of archiving the DTM and extruded data in the collection, and added to this I will begin archiving all the architecture of schizophrenia + architectures. Right now I really have no set plan as to how this documentation will fit together, so right now all I can think to do is compile all the data for starters.

Surfaces within Quondam's collection refers to those data files generated by specific CAD capabilities regarding mesh surfaces, linear extrusions, and rotational extrusions. When utilized in an orthodox manner, CAD's extrusion commands produce an endless variety of recognizable shapes, yet the same CAD commands, when used in an unorthodox manner, not only produce an endless variety of shapes and surfaces, but, moreover, produce shapes and surfaces that for the most part cannot be mentally imagined prior to the computer operations. It is these otherwise unimaginable resultant surfaces, along with the techniques that create them, that are here displayed.
