This candelabrum was found in Hadrian's Villa near Tivoli in a place known as Pantanello. This ancient monument, and for elegance, and fineness of its carvings, and the parts, which are well divided, correspond to the whole; let him be of a wondrous proportion.

Morning thin clouds, wind NEerly. Temperature 54 rose to 65°. P.M. I attended the sale of lots late of Robert Teletaker[?]. Wood had estimated from 25 to 30 cords sold from 68 to 75 pounds[?] and are very high th.... I went to see Gilbert Robinson, he very fast declining. Temperature AM 49° rose to 65° and at sunset 60°. Wind round to SE.

The dead Piranesi likes Philadelphia because of the design of the Benjamin Franklin Parkway.
Plus, about 220 years after Piranesi secretly changed the Ichnographia Campus Martius into a second state, the two versions of the large plan were finally discovered in Philadelphia. Piranesi made the secret changes only to see who would ultimately discover them.
