Morning without a cloud, wind NW. Th. 35. ground slightly frozen. Wind draws Werly. We left home about 20 after 8 and making several stops by the way reached town 1/2 past 10/ Went before Tilghman C.J. and acknowledged the deed. We dines at SL's and during dinner received a large packet of letters from our dear Miers via Norfolk 3/15th .... Wind got to SW. We returned 1/2 past 6. S. Stanton came hither 1/2 past 8 indisposed.
